Done and dusted for another year tipsters.  CONGRATULATIONS to …. SAINT11.

Despite a nervous finish with only 3 points in round 26, SAINT 11 hung on to outlast the LOWLAND WONDERER by 1 point.   They collect $150 and $50 respectively for first and second and prove that you don’t need to know anything about football to win a tipping competition.

Finishing fast but just out of the money was RTFBG and THE DISNIK who both scored 6 points in the last round to climb up the ladder   … aaahhh what could have been.  The pressure was too much for BLUE AND WHITE V and MITCHO who dropped two spots and effectively swapped places with 3rd and 4th. Rounding out a commendable top 10 finish were:  CHARCOAL, who went off too early; MRS EAGLE, who clearly knows more about the game then her less soaring husband; BIG BAD BUZZ and TROTTY finished 9 and 10.

SHORTARSE finally sat in the bottom of the top half which I guess is better than the top of the bottom half which is where CHARLIAS was who may do well to remember his method on the final round of picks after he scored a perfect round and bonus points to get a total of 10.  CLICHÉ and BOYCOWS were steady performers all season which proves that slow and steady only wins the race if those above you stop for a nap.

Meanwhile, down at the bottom, no one was a match for JACKSBACK who was a massive 7 points behind second last and collects $50 for that “effort” and the honour of being the first Tipster in FUGS tipping history to win the competition and lose the competition.  What’s left to do after that? Win and lose in the same year?  Now I want to see that.

Cheers everyone until 2016 when we will once again fight with the NRL tipping site to try and get another tipping year underway.
